Abstract
⺠Children with medically intractable epilepsy constitute a vulnerable population. ⺠Aggressive surgical strategies must be governed by relevant ethical principles. ⺠Decisions must mitigate the effects of epilepsy on the developing brain. ⺠Unique challenges are encountered for children with severe developmental delay.
