Abstract
⺠This is the first study of memory rehabilitation outcome in groups of patients with epilepsy. ⺠Strategy use, verbal memory, and self-reported prospective memory improved. ⺠Baseline memory, age, education, level of depression, and number of antiepileptic drugs affected outcome. ⺠Outcome was not affected by illness duration, seizure frequency, or side or site of lesion. ⺠Remediation can help patients with everyday memory difficulties.
