Abstract
⺠Complementary and alternative medicine is popular among people with epilepsy in Taiwan. ⺠Patients with frequent seizures and less educated parents are more likely to use complementary and alternative medicine. ⺠Traditional Chinese medicine and temple worship were the most common forms of complementary and alternative medicine. ⺠Taiwan's National Health Insurance program also has influence on treatment-seeking behavior of people with epilepsy.
