Abstract
⺠People with epilepsy were questioned about comorbid depression. ⺠Almost half of the sample would not seek help for daily psychological distress. ⺠A popular treatment route was seeking advice from general practitioners and from family and friends. ⺠Speed of treatment was prioritized over treatment choice for most patients.
