Abstract
⺠Multivariate predictors of nonepilectic seizures and epilepsy were compared. ⺠Personality Assessment Inventory, clinical, and seizure variables were used. ⺠Conversion symptoms, years, and length of seizures classified 84% of patients. ⺠Cut scores produced strong discrimination between seizure groups. ⺠Predictors are easily and cost-effectively obtainable by self-report alone.
