Abstract
⺠Effective doctor-patient communication is key to successful treatment of epilepsy. ⺠Prior research has demonstrated infrequent discussions of mood/behavior and adverse effects. ⺠In this study, a previsit questionnaire increased the frequency of discussions. ⺠Questionnaire use did not increase length of the clinical encounter. ⺠Neurologists perceived the questionnaire positively.
