Abstract
⺠The roles of FDG PET and neuropsychological evaluation in planning epilepsy surgery are reviewed. ⺠Interictal FDG PET can support temporal lobe resection when MRI is normal. ⺠Interictal FDG PET can prognosticate seizure outcome of surgery. ⺠Neuropsychological evaluation can assist in selecting surgical candidates. ⺠Neuropsychological evaluation can prognosticate cognitive outcome of surgery.
