Abstract
⺠Vagus nerve stimulation therapy successfully contributed to seizure control in 436 patients with treatment-resistant epilepsy. ⺠Nearly 60% of patients experienced at least 50% reduction in seizure burden at the time of last follow-up. ⺠Complications were few. ⺠Vagus nerve stimulation is a safe and efficacious palliative treatment option for patients with treatment-resistant epilepsy.
