Abstract
⺠We evaluated the long-term effects after irradiation to the young mouse brain. ⺠Hippocampal proliferation was still markedly reduced. ⺠Neurogenesis had been almost completely ablated and gliosis was seen. ⺠Place learning was unaffected but reversal learning was impaired.
