Abstract
⺠Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) production is decreased during systemic inflammation. ⺠H2S inhibits prostaglandin E2 synthesis. ⺠Cyclic AMP levels are stimulated by H2S. ⺠H2S is a powerful antipyretic molecule in the preoptic hypothalamus.
