Abstract
⺠Redox-active Cu(II)-Aβ1-40 is more toxic than other biochemical forms of Aβ. ⺠Cu(II)-Aβ causes formation of hyperphosphorylated tau-containing axonal swellings. ⺠Cu(II)-Aβ causes production of free radicals and leakage of K+ from neurons.
