Abstract
⺠Embryonic stem cells (ESCs) were transplanted to the damaged rat auditory nerve. ⺠Good survival and neuronal differentiation of the ESCs was observed. ⺠Brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in bioactive gel increased ESC survival. ⺠BDNF in bioactive gel improved the neuronal differentiation rate of the ESCs. ⺠Chondroitinase ABC in bioactive gel facilitated migration.
