Abstract
âºCOX2 inhibitor or EP4 antagonist suppressed nerve injury increased BDNF in DRG neurons. âºBDNF expression is shifted to medium and larger size injured DRG neurons. âºIn DRG explant cultures, PGE2 increased BDNF levels. âºEP1 and EP4 receptors, PKA, ERK/MAPK and CREB signaling pathways were involved. âºInjured nerve-derived PGE2 contributes to BDNF up-regulation in DRG neurons following nerve injury.
