Abstract
⺠The inhibitory role of sub-thalamic nucleus (STN) was studied in PD. ⺠α, low-β and high-β ERD appearing synchronously 1 s before movement termination. ⺠High-β ERD appears first followed by low-β ERD prior to movement ignition. ⺠The strategies of STN are different between movement ignition and termination. ⺠STN participates in volitional movement termination in PD.
