Abstract
âºCalponin-3 is an actin-interacting protein. âºCalponin-3 was significantly increased in the cortices and CSF of patients with epilepsy. âºIn a rat model of epilepsy, cortical and hippocampal calponin-3 was significantly upregulated for up to 2 months. âºDeregulated actin-binding protein may play a role in the pathophysiology of epilepsy.
