Abstract
⺠Hypoxia does not affect the in vitro viability of non-committed stem-like cells. ⺠Hypoxia impairs the in vitro viability of committed neuronal progenitors. ⺠Oxygenation reduces the proliferation of stem cells implanted in the injured brain. ⺠Oxygenation permits neuronal differentiation of implanted progenitors.
