Abstract
⺠GluR2/GAPDH interaction is enhanced in the hippocampus of rats subjected to global ischemia. ⺠Disruption of GluR2/GAPDH interaction protects against brain damage from global ischemia in the rat hippocampus. ⺠Disruption of GluR2/GAPDH interaction blocked the decreased GluR2/GAPDH plasma membrane expression in tMCAo rats. ⺠Disruption of GluR2/GAPDH interaction protects against brain damage from focal ischemia in the rat. ⺠Inhibition of GAPDH expression protects brain damage from focal ischemia.
