Abstract
⺠Age is the most important risk factor for developing Alzheimer's disease (AD). ⺠We studied the relationships between age and CSF biomarkers among 966 patients. ⺠In AD patients, aging was associated with higher CSF amyloid 1-42 and lower Tau levels. ⺠Inversed relationship was observed in non-AD patients. ⺠The impact of age on CSF biomarkers levels was more pronounced in women than men.
