Abstract
⺠We examined the efficacy of 2, 2â²-dipyridyl after ICH in 12-month-old mice. ⺠Pretreatment decreased iron deposition and gray and white matter injury. ⺠Post-treatment reduced brain lesion volume and edema, improved neurologic function. ⺠Lipid-soluble iron chelator 2,2â²-dipyridyl could protect brain against ICH injury.
