Abstract
⺠First detection of brain levels of anastrozole after oral administration in mice. ⺠Anastrozole increased Aβ1-40/42-immunostaining in intact 3xTgAD female mice. ⺠Anastrozole increased the number of CA1 Aβ1-40/42 positive neurons in female mice. ⺠Anastrozole reduced the APP/Aβ plaque load in 9 month old female 3xTgAD mice.
