Abstract
The deformable structure of polymer vesicles makes them an attractive vehicle for topical and transdermal delivery of drugs. The present study is a correlation of their morphology to the permeation observed across biological membranes by TEM, AFM and CLSM studies. This can lead to the development of these nanosystems for localized delivery of therapeutics to skin with minimal systemic toxicity.
