Abstract
âºL1cam interacts with the transcription factor, Sox10, to significantly increase the incidence of aganglionosis. âºL1cam does not interact with members of the Gdnf signaling pathway. âºInteractions between L1cam and Sox10 significantly disrupt neural crest migration within the developing gut. âºInteractions between L1cam and Sox10 result in neural crest cells undergoing excessive cell death prior to entering the gut. âºSox10 directly regulates L1cam expression.
