Abstract
âºExcitotoxicity mediated by GluA4-containing Ca-AMPARs involves the JNK pathway. âºActivation of the JNK pathway downstream of Ca-AMPARs is Ca2+-dependent. âºIn the rat hippocampus the GluA4 subunit may interact with the JNK scaffold JIP-1. âºThe interaction with GluA4 occurs through the N-terminal domain of JIP-1.
