Abstract
⺠Levels of adhesion molecules are altered in a rodent model of Parkinson's disease. ⺠Peripheral inflammatory stimuli modulate expression of selected adhesion molecules. ⺠Peripheral inflammatory stimuli reduce toxin-induced loss of dopaminergic neurons. ⺠Manipulation of peripheral immune status can slow down Parkinson's disease progression.
