Abstract
⺠TRPV1 channels are involved in a variety of inflammatory conditions. ⺠Genetic deletion of TRPV1 channels affected the clinical course of EAE. ⺠Ablation of TRPV1 channels exacerbated the effects of TNF-α on glutamate synapses. ⺠On the contrary, ablation of TRPV1 channels attenuated the synaptic action of IL-1β.
