Abstract
This study comprises results of time resolved measurements of acute heat pain induced changes in excitatory (Glx) and inhibitory (GABA+) neurotransmitter turnover in ACC and OC by using 1H MEGA-PRESS spectroscopy. In ACC and OC, Glx/tCr increased significantly during painful heat stimulation, respectively, while GABA+/tCr decreased at the same time.130
