Abstract
⺠We evaluated 9179 functional images with respect to the display practice used. ⺠We identified five main display styles with respect to color use. ⺠We identified a trend of standardization towards the heated body scale. ⺠38.2% of the images displaying activations using color scales didn't explicate them. ⺠We provide suggestions to improve the display practice in neuroimaging.
