Abstract
⺠The potential of hyperoxic contrast for measuring venous CBV was investigated. ⺠Simulations were performed to examine sensitivity to physiological variability. ⺠The existing method was found to be very sensitive to physiological variability. ⺠A new method was proposed with much reduced sensitivity to physiological variability. ⺠Measurements of venous CBV with the new method are in line with literature values.
