Abstract
⺠fMRI study comparing single effector and coordinated multi-effector decision making. ⺠We find effector-specific value signals in supplementary motor and cingulate cortex. ⺠Value signals in prefrontal cortex (PFC) show no evident effector-specific structure. ⺠Connectivity between PFC and cingulate increases in multi-effector actions. ⺠Suggests multi-effector choices involve top-down control from abstract valuations.
