Prior knowledge on cortex organization in the reconstruction of source current densities from EEG

► We test a novel approach to using prior knowledge in EEG source reconstruction. ► Approach uses spatial similarity in prior information, rather than absolute values. ► One algorithm makes effective use of priors and is relatively robust against errors. ► Behavior depends on topology of the source space. ► Implications and possible extensions are discussed.
