Abstract
⺠First non-pharmacological imaging study on anticipation of interoceptive threat. ⺠Anticipation of interoceptive threat activates same network as anticipation of shock. ⺠Rostral dACC/dmPFC activation correlates with reported concerns about body symptoms. ⺠High fear participants show stronger activation of the network. ⺠Innovative method to study anticipation of interoceptive threat in clinical samples.
