Abstract
⺠Study of amyloid deposition in a relevant model of Alzheimer's disease pathology. ⺠Method provides high contrast in brain, high resolution and a large field of view. ⺠Visualization of amyloid-plaque distribution in the whole brain was demonstrated. ⺠Automated segmentation and evaluation of Aβ-plaques at 4 stages of the disease. ⺠Validation of a new powerful method for ex vivo analysis of amyloid burden in mice.
