Abstract
⺠We applied TMS to mask stimuli of orientation Gratings versus Faces. ⺠There was a later peak masking latency, and slower recovery, for Faces. ⺠We next TMS-masked composite Gratings-Faces images with two tasks. ⺠There was still a later recovery of the masking curve in the Faces task. ⺠The TMS masking window may reflect both feedforward and fast recurrent processing.
