Abstract
⺠Accurate sensory thresholds were extracted from passively-recorded MEG data. ⺠Auditory gap-detection paradigm used to derive 'cortical psychometric functions' ⺠MEG thresholds correlate strongly and significantly with psychophysical data. ⺠MEG data provide additional insight into causes of poor behavioural performance. ⺠Has applications in studying atypical sensory sensitivity in clinical populations
