Abstract
► Participants listened to auditory stimuli and indicated changes in regularity. ► We differentiated temporal sections preceding or not preceding such indications. ► Perception of regularity-changes was mediated by areas linked to event segmentation. ► Effects were found during explicit monitoring for regularity and passivelistening.
