Abstract
⺠fMRI recordings were done before and after 5 days of hand immobilization. ⺠Half subjects perceived daily illusory movements induced by propriotactile feedback. ⺠Cortical brain activations changed in untreated group not in treated group. ⺠Perceiving a virtual movement compensates for the lack of natural feedback.
