Abstract

âº We present how analysis of neonatal EEG can be based on its own characteristics. âº We develop protocols to study phase synchrony of both oscillations and events. âº We apply these protocols to study dense array EEG from early preterm babies. âº Our methods disclose novel changes in cortical connectivity after brain lesion. âº The observed changes are compatible with later neurocognitive sequelae.
