Abstract
► EEG mu suppression is thought to be an index of mirror neurons activity in humans. ► We explored the effects of different levels of social interaction on mu suppression. ► Participants observed, played or imagined playing a Rock-Scissors- Paper game. ► We found the greatest mu suppression both in viewing and in playing a game. ► We concluded that mu suppression is affected by motion and by social context.
