Abstract
► This study is the first to report neural haptic priming in young and older adults. ► We found ERP repetition enhancements in both age groups at 500-900 ms time window. ► Between 1200 and 1500 ms, only the young participants showed ERP repetition suppression. ► The amplitude was larger for young than older adults at theta, alpha, and beta bands. ► Haptic priming is spared with age but aging affects ERPs and brain oscillations.
