Abstract
⺠I investigated neural circuits that deal with counterfactual sentence truth-value. ⺠RIFG was more sensitive to counterfactual truth-value than to real-world truth-value. ⺠Larger RIFG sensitivity is consistent with work on discourse and figurative language. ⺠Overall, false sentences elicited wide-spread activation across semantic network.
