Abstract
⺠Brain regions involved in aversive learning flexibly respond to generalized threats. ⺠Generalization is marked by individual differences in psychophysiological arousal. ⺠Amygdala activity positively correlates with behavioral measures of generalization. ⺠Fear generalization is associated with increases in amygdala-fusiform connectivity.
