Abstract
⺠Conventional MT imaging is restricted from long scan times. ⺠Compared to SPGR, bSSFP provides high resolution MT data in a clinical setting. ⺠MTR-values in the normal brain are opposed to qMT data using bSSFP. ⺠Different combinations of qMT parameters can counteract to result in similar MTR. ⺠The limited MTR specificity makes qMT preferable for brain tissue characterization.
