Abstract
⺠Effects of contralateral white noise on the auditory evoked fields (AEFs) were examined using MEG. ⺠Contralateral white noise significantly attenuated 40-Hz auditory steady-state fields (ASSFs). ⺠Contralateral white noise did not cause any significant change in N100m response of AEFs. ⺠Suppression of the 40-Hz ASSF by contralateral white noise showed right hemispheric predominance.
