Abstract
⺠22q11DS can be independently associated with learning disability or schizophrenia. ⺠Hippocampal and cerebellar volumes differ between 22q11DS and higher IQ controls. ⺠Regional cortical morphology is abnormal in 22q11DS but not in matched IQ controls. ⺠The corpus callosum is enlarged in 22q11DS but not in matched IQ controls. ⺠Atypical cortical and callosal maturation may contribute to psychosis risk in 22q11DS.
