Abstract
⺠Implicit phonological processing was examined in a fMRI priming study. ⺠Phonological priming resulted in hemodynamic response suppression. ⺠Homophone and pseudohomophone priming resulted in different patterns of responses. ⺠Default-mode network activity was modulated within the context of an implicit task.
