Abstract
⺠Depression is related to hyperactivation of an amygdala-centered (para)limbic network. ⺠Duloxetine attenuates affective processing in same neurocircuitry in healthy humans. ⺠Duloxetine potentiates effective communication between subparts of the network. ⺠This may represent mechanism through which duloxetine normalizes negativity bias in depression.
