Abstract
âºThe earliest cortical response after median nerve stimulation is generated within the contralateral BA3b. âºBA1 is activated few milliseconds later indicating a serial mode of somatosensory processing within cytoarchitectonic SI subdivisions. âºCombined non-invasive MEG data and probabilistic cytoarchitectonic maps allow unambiguous localisation of activated brain areas when strict criteria are met.
