Abstract
⺠Blocking D1- or D2 receptors increases SEP amplitudes in sensorimotor cortex (SMC). ⺠No shifts in position or change in the geometry of receptive fields are induced. ⺠Dopamine reduces SMC excitability thereby improving sensory signal-to-noise ratio.
