Abstract
►S-R conflict effects decreased with increasing RT. ►S-S conflicts modulated ACC as well as N2/early P3 with source in IFG. ►S-R conflicts modulated PCC as well as P3b with source in SPL. ►Combined conflicts activated anterior PFC and both N2 and P3b with MFG source. ►Different types of conflict rely on different brain processing mechanisms.
