Abstract
► We examined cortical thickness changes in adults with high-functioning autism. ► Region specific thinning particularly in the left posterior superior temporal sulcus. ► Considering the time course of cortical changes accentuates further key regions. ► Clusters with the same and with different age-related slopes in patients and controls. ► Apparently aberrant brain development is proceeding throughout adulthood.
